Professional basketball player focused on teaching players the Art of Scoring. Buckets for everyone. @jonasharper_

2 months agoTalen Horton-Tucker is going to have a breakout season this year with this new-look Bulls team. Tucker is special when he is attacking downhill and knows how to manipulate the ball when defenders are trying to steal it. In this play, he attacks the flat ball screen in the middle of the key and notices a defender cut him off and switch in front of him. Tucker then takes a hard plant with his right foot and does a low pickup while sweeping his arms up through the defender’s reaching arms, drawing the foul from the defense, and finishes at the rim with a thunderous dunk. This low pickup is a subtle move that requires a good amount of strength and precise footwork to pull off when drawing the foul and finishing through contact. Remember to practice different ways to score when defenders are trying to steal the ball from you when attacking the basket! #basketball #nba #talenhortontucker #sports #basketballtips #basketballtraining #basketballskills #basketballpractice #bball #ballislife #hooper #ihoop #basketballfundamentals #jabstep #isolationscoring 🎥: @chicagobulls

2 months agoOne of the reasons why LaMelo Ball is so good as an offensive player is because his game is so unpredictable and crafty. When he is on the court, he never thinks about his next move—he just takes what the defense gives him and uses his elusive handle to get to where he wants on the court. This clip shows exactly that. In this clip, LaMelo was at the top of the key and tries to come off a top ball screen, so he sets his defender up with a float between the legs and accelerates towards the screen. The defender does a good job trying to beat him to the spot of the screen, so Ball gets to the screen and rejects it by going in the opposite direction, hitting a staggered stop into a behind-the-back dribble, which sends the defender flying. The defender guarding the ball screen switches onto Ball, and Ball lulls him to sleep with a hesitation right-to-left crossover, then quickly does a between-the-legs back to his left hand and changes speeds. As he drives the left alley, he uses his right arm to swipe the defender’s reaching hands and then finishes over the shot-blocking defender with a one-foot high off-the-glass scoop layup with his left hand without touching the ball with his right. An extremely difficult finish to do while going full speed, but it just shows how crafty and skilled Ball is as an offensive threat. #basketball #nba #lameloball #sports #basketballtips #basketballtraining #basketballskills #basketballpractice #bball #ballislife #hooper #ihoop #basketballfundamentals #jabstep #isolationscoring 🎥: @melo / YouTube: E hoops

GroundUP Alignment Method New Solution For An Old Problem Cultivate Your @mindful_breath_ 🎋 Re-Alignment Plans👇🏽

9 months agoThe Daniel in this Before & After picture, is not the same one... 🔄 The physical change I went through is just a demonstration, maybe even just a peek glimpse, into the internal change I have experienced. A shift in life perspective, a switch in coping mechanisms, a change in emotional confidence and mental balance, and so much more. 🧠💪 I was so confused, lost, locked in a transparent cage, trapped within myself like a shoelace that got tangled in a self knot. 🔒 So many things hurt me - standing, walking, dancing, washing dishes. I was so angry, short-tempered, and impulsive. 😡🤯 I was so scared, stuck in my own mind, living life within internal dialogue. 🗣️💭 During my journey a profound phrase was born from the change: “In order to become the person you were born to be, you must eliminate the person you’ve learned to be.” 🌱➡️🌳 Today I am 32 years old. At 16, I discovered I was allergic to gluten, and then it happened: In just 30 days, I grew tall 30 cm, going from 1.51 meters to 1.81 meters in one month! 😲 Due to this rapid growth, my body locked into a terrible posture; Scoliosis, hip imbalance and shoulder kyphosis, at the age of 16 I was trapped within myself without even knowing... 😓🔒 The thing that helped me most was the connection I had to my body. Since the age of 3, I’ve been doing many types of sports: Gymnastics, Swimming, Tennis, Martial Arts, Ninja and more. 🏊‍♂️🤸‍♂️🎾 This connection to my body led to the most significant moment: At 16, looking in the mirror at my confined-twisted body, I came to a simple conclusion; My body is very attentive and knows how to learn, so I have decided that I’ll re-teach it how to stand & move differently, and so it will be. 🤺🧘‍♂️ So I set out on a journey of self-learning, searching, practicing, and studying non-stop with extraordinary determination (perhaps obsession) for 16 years now. 📚💡 * Continue in the comments ⬇️
