6 months agoMaybe you should get some actual work done instead of diddying yourself for 45 minutes there pal 🤨 Foam rolling might feel good in the short term, it might even create a window of heightened sensory/ proprioceptive awareness for the targeted tissues (which we could positively leverage), but foam rolling in itself does not address the root cause of why you feel the need to foam roll in the first place Foam rolling chuds can cry below ⬇️⬇️⬇️
6 months agoMost of the people who follow me suffer from chronic pain, stress, and breathing issues The goal of the work that I teach is NOT to eliminate pain and stress! … Okay yeah- of course we want to (and do) figure that out, but that should be a baseline expectation that you have for yourself as a person, it’s not the end of the line The goal of flow ops is to help you eliminate UNNECESSARY pain and stress so that you can get back to a place where you can mentally and physically endure MORE strain (and benefit from it) Clean up the inputs so that we can tangibly improve the outputs again Getting better at stuff and being genuinely excited about it The way it was when you were a kid Improving strength metrics via weightlifting is one example of that- you can do whatever you want to do with your body Comment your thoughts below ⬇️ ⬇️⬇️
