First attempt on jeans, not denim, I went for a more textured look, I didn’t want the leaves to be so visible individually as it then makes the pair have like a floral theme, and in my mind could limit the outfits its worn with, however with the more textured approach, factoring in the cut of jeans which is a straight fit, when worn the jeans will fall and fold down, further obscuring the definition of the leaves. The jeans become more versatile as it’s just seen a type of wash, only up close can you see they are individual leaves placed like a mosaic.
2nd to last is the original Levi’s tab, compared to mine, there’s a lot of directions that my tabs could go, even something as simple as changing the way I stitched it on makes an impact, so that will need some time and development too.
