Then we headed to @palapashtx for Sunday Funday and we finished with tacos at @cantinabarba ! 5 years agoI never thought I would leave the company I’ve spent the last 3 years at without in-person goodbyes to all of my incredible colleagues at the league. As my first job out of college, the NBA taught me so many lessons and gave me so many incredible friendships. Working for the NBA, especially the last year and a half with the NBA G League, was a dream come true. ⁣ ⁣ From managing partnerships for the G League to serving as co-chair of our black ERT (Dream In Color), the memories and experiences I’ve had are ones that I will always cherish. ⁣ ⁣ As I start my next chapter, I am continuously motivated by my grandfather’s motto, “Aim High.” I’m sad to leave, but excited for the future. ⁣ ⁣ Thank you to all of the people who have been a part of my journey at the league. I will always be grateful. Save me a ticket for Cleveland All-Star 2022 😉🏀

2 months agoPatti Muscles is back you all!! “Sharing my Journey” Several years ago I was introduced to the Ice and Heat concept/therapy. It was extremely humbling, but I knew that by leveraging being uncomfortable and pushing my body thru unconventional physical movement, deep breathing exercises, and mindful awareness, would shift my mental state, allowing me to push past limitations I had either inherited, or collected along the way. After such experience, I had learned how to access new solutions by actively changing my physiology through actions like cold plunges, dancing, rollerblading, vigorous exercise, long distance meditative endurance cycling, or even simply taking deep breaths when feeling stuck. Somewhere along the way, I forgot how to tap onto such a powerful hack for issues like depression. And today I get back in the groove, to create good habits, mental and physical heath.
