9 months ago𝐋𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧,
Thank you for the past years I’ve been at GCU. I owe so much to you and the school with how much I’ve grown as a man and a man of faith. It was a little kids dream long ago to play in-front of the best fans in the world and, you, the havocs, all made that a reality.
This season was bittersweet and not ending the way I would’ve hoped, but it’s the real battles that were won and the journey along the way that proved to be worth more than just points on a scoreboard. Without you all and the community you give, I wouldn’t be who I am nor been in the position I was blessed to have. I’m proud to say that The Lord’s Kingdom grew because of you all. Starting with myself finding my own faith with Christ and leading to many others there after.
I’m sorry I couldn’t give you a Final Four, but together we won heavenly championships. Those for both you, me, and many others will get to cherish.
It’s the only championship thats not stuck in time and continues to keep giving.
My hope is that those championships continue to lead to others. First for the Kingdom, but of course, also for GCU. Go get that final four and that national title. I’ll be in the stands cheering, once a Lope, but now forever a Havoc.
