3 months agoI have been living a God-fearing, disciplined life for many years. Am I perfect? Hell no! But, I try everyday to be the best I can in every situation that I am in. It’s the biggest reason why I don’t go out drinking, clubbing, etc. It’s amazing how some of you God-fearing people have missed entirely what I am trying to do out here. And you have missed it simply because I cuss. I didn’t come from the same place you came from (and many others didn’t either) which is why I don’t speak the same way you do. I somehow manage to get my point across. I have many ministers, priests, etc., incorporating my messages in their sermons on a regular basis and they tell me about it. They understand and appreciate my message and the work I am doing out here to help people. That’s why 99% of my messages on IG are about people getting up when knocked down and helping them finding more of themselves. If you think for one second that God has one cookie cutter message to appeal to the billions of people in this world, you are sadly mistaken. I am eternally grateful that I found God on my own in my early years and am not hearing it for the first time from the way some of you speak to me about God. I would forever have been turned off!

3 months agoSet the goal for the month to get 15,000 pull-ups and now just wrapping it up! It’s important to set goals- hourly, daily, monthly, yearly, etc.! Especially if you have been doing it for a long time - find ways to keep the fire burning! Stay hard!

3 months agoNothing stays the same! Not saying it is a bad or good thing. The generations that came before me think that I am soft. My generation will think that the younger generations are soft. What’s important is that we learn from every generation! It’s important that we allow people to push us and that we take it the right way and grow from it! I respect @drew.millan so much not just because of who he is but because of his family. Whenever Andrew and his family come into town, he always knows we will get some kind of workout in and he is always down for a life lesson! Stay hard!

3 months agoThanks again @lewishowes for a great Sunmit of Greatness event and the great audience. There is very little anyone else can really ever do for you. Until you really want it, you will always be the person asking questions on how to do it. Once you truly want it, it’s amazing how quickly the answers come to you on exactly how to achieve it! Stay hard!

4 months agoGood luck this season! Love the motivation and the fire! Now…let’s back it up with a lot of wins and souls taken! Those boats will not carry themselves. Someone must carry them! It might as well be you! Stay hard!

4 months agoDame arrived on Sunday night. Our first workout was at 11pm and our last workout was at 1pm on Tuesday. During that time, we completed 10 workouts and he had basketball workouts in between as well. It’s truly amazing to see in such a short period of time the amount of change a person can have with the right mindset and attitude. On day one, what seemed impossible became possible simply due to a change in mindset. I took him down to the deep end and instead of him coming up for air, he decided to hold his breath for a little bit longer and found more! Mad respect @damianlillard - I see your commitment to your craft! Stay hard! P.S. In case you were wondering, we were pushing a resistance level of 90. This is after over a half-mile of walking lunges and 30 minutes of wall sits broken up into 2 minute intervals with 30-45 seconds rest in between (so the legs were burnt already not to mention all of the other workouts prior to this- our final session on the bike)!
