5 months agoCongrats to @cheatersbasketball for winning the 2024 #DrewLeague Championship. 🏆 The Mecca Cheaters staged an improbable comeback from down 16 points with under 5 minutes to go, giving #TheDrew faithful a finish they won’t soon forget. 🍿 Championship Game MVP @demar_derozan finished with 54 points, 11 boards, and 3 dimes in the win. 🔥🔥🔥 🫡 to @souljasbasketball. Those dudes had the Cheaters on the ropes and put on a hell of a show themselves. @bigbean.3 is a future face of our league and @__0dj__ and @thewamster_5 showed why they are seasoned pros! 3 years agotook a minute for me to post because I wanted to make sure I was 100% certain. Anyways, I have decided to step away from playing basketball. I’d like to just give a quick shoutout to my family and coaches. You all helped me use the 🌎 greatest game to change my life and take me places I never dreamed about. Mom&Dad especially for the sacrifices, rides and late nights with tears, I am forever indebted. The Relationships and Memories I have built through this great game are lifelong and for that I am eternally grateful. If we played together or competed against each other, you brought the best out of me and for that I cannot thank you enough. From St Denis to St. Joe’s and everything in between, if you supported me, thank you from the bottom of my heart I truly appreciated it. P.S, dont let anyone tell you somethings impossible.
