2 months agoDate night to an outdoor movie 😄 Saturdays are all about us. We spend a full 24 hours together on Saturdays and that’s our reset for the week. Sleep in then get food and just chill. I’m one of those people who prefer to watch movies at home but when it comes to women I’ve learned they just like experiences. I told her I would do more date nights so I thought an outdoor movie would be a great experience for us to both have together and we actually enjoyed it. We don’t find an excuse to eat junk food like that often. Let’s see what surprise we get next Saturday

6 months agoNBA OFF SEASON TRAINING: Yes pilates is possible even at nearly 7 feet tall 🫨 @m0ussadiabate has been so consistent with his pilates practice through this NBA off season, working with me 3 times a week. We didn’t get to this advanced variation on the first or second attempt, but through persistent break downs and build ups. Airplane and Magician are excellent pilates variations to tap into the strength of your body, your connection to the back of your body (perfecting your pelvis position), and most importantly (in my opinion) your connection and reach from your center into your upper back/hands, and through your feet. A lot that translates to and improves the power of your performance (VERTICALLY) on the basketball court. & yes I’m going to tell my client to SQUEEZE THE GLUTES as many times as I need to for them to maintain the engagement #pilateslovers #mendopilates #pilatesinspiration #nbabasketball

6 months agoFull expression of the reality of these pilates sessions. I stand by “if it feels easy it ain’t right” - Sometimes you scream, sometimes you fall out of it, sometimes you want to give in… it simply means you are working deeply. And when it’s all said and done, you should always leave feeling more freakishly strong. This movement requires fluidity, flow, and a deep internal muscle/mind body connection that you can’t always find in any other form of movement. If my clients are complaining or grunting enough like @stefondiggs and @leonardfournette — something must be off. 😂 Always so proud of these guys and how hard they work- especially in the NFL off season when it’s so easy to get up in anything else. a year agoI’ve been boxing for a year and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I really started to just lose some weight then it turned into me winning Golden Gloves and my first pro fight. The coolest part of it all was the people I got to meet @dropoutfightclub who I consider family now. It’s super inspiring to see people from all walks of life trying to better themselves.
