3 months agoAt long last, The Third Temple has been erected! The long-awaited sophomore full-length is out now on Double LP and CD formats from Invictus Productions. Spite extends gratitude to the Patrons of the Temple who have patiently awaited this release since the coming of the Antimoshiach, as well as those who had a hand in its creation, including @jamieeltonsound for crafting the sound of the album, @taraatefi for bringing its themes to life on its cover, @karmazid for the additional artwork that adorns the interior of the Temple, @only.light.remains for capturing the image of Salpsan, @paul__plane for invaluable assistance in developing the look of the album, and of course @invictus_productions for the nearly decade-long support. 8 months agoMany of you that have followed me before I even started going to college know that I have always found it extremely important to donate to charity but deciding which charity has always been a personal preference and really, I had just been hoping that what I donate actually helps those in need but I never really knew with certainty. This year I decided to take an Effective Altruism class in order to learn how to do the most good and how to give most effectively, very early on we had to read “Famine, Affluence, and Morality” a piece written by Peter Singer and it completely changed my entire outlook. I know donating to charity seems fruitless, and I know that sometimes it seems like you’re just one person and your $5 dollar donation won’t make a difference, but I am here to tell you it will. Thanks to GiveWell.Org, the tractability of your donation has never been more transparent. My goal is to raise funds to help save human lives in the most effective way possible but I need your help, please donate if you can even a dollar, share this post, and together we CAN directly save those who need our help most. This is so important to me♥️ (The last slide an excerpt from a reflection paper I wrote my Effective Altruism class) Also shoutout to William Macaskill for writing “Doing Good Better” and for teaching Effective Altruism to the masses.
