My mastering service goes above and beyond your normal mastering. I like to work with the artists/ labels to get the mix just right prior to the final mastering process. I listen to a track with a fresh perspective that the artists doesn’t have. Some advice on the mixdown, goes a long way to improving the overall sound. I find this works better than just slamming the track through a limiter and trying to compensate for issues in the mixdown of a track. The biggest release we’ve ever made - and possibly will make – the 2-book signed boxset edition of Cult Never Dies: Evolution of the Cult including main book, colour Visual Companion hardback, 13 colour art card prints (1 more than expected in fact), numbered certificate, large flag (not pictured), all housed in a reinforced box with silver hotfoil stamp. Preorders are on their way by now or being sent in the coming days. EU store will dispatch early February. 2 months agoDear Helena and World Community, It is with a broken heart that we announce the passing of the incredible David Spencer. To know David was to love David. And of course, passing away on World Kindness Day seems so very fitting. We will be holding a Celebration of Life for him here at his second home, the Holter Museum of Art, on December 20th. We will post more information as details come together. In the meantime, in his honor we request that you read some books, drink a pint of beer or hot tea, and remember a man that was the heart of downtown Helena and the Holter for four decades. We love you David and you will be sorely missed. All of us at the Holter.

2 months agoI've shared these photos plenty of times. Along with this commercial @bail.gun.gary made years back. But I've belabored over this copy 5 times over. To be honest, the only reason for this post is I wanted to reiterate an anecdote...most times art is not about what you include, it's more about what you exclude. Break things down and strip them to their simplest form, that's what hits the deepest part of the soul and makes us relatable to each other. • It's the silence that lives in between the notes. That vibe is what I've strived for with Stereo. Simplicity. All due respect but I couldn't get through a Stevie Ray Vaughn guitar solo if you paid me. And Ethan doing an ollie over a hip drew you in more than any tech skateboarding. The best artists (in my humble opinion) are talented people who are also amazing editors of their own material!
