2 months agoI've shared these photos plenty of times. Along with this commercial @bail.gun.gary made years back. But I've belabored over this copy 5 times over. To be honest, the only reason for this post is I wanted to reiterate an anecdote...most times art is not about what you include, it's more about what you exclude. Break things down and strip them to their simplest form, that's what hits the deepest part of the soul and makes us relatable to each other. • It's the silence that lives in between the notes. That vibe is what I've strived for with Stereo. Simplicity. All due respect but I couldn't get through a Stevie Ray Vaughn guitar solo if you paid me. And Ethan doing an ollie over a hip drew you in more than any tech skateboarding. The best artists (in my humble opinion) are talented people who are also amazing editors of their own material! 5 months agoWhat a ride it's been🥈 I'm grateful and humbled by this amazing journey and to share these memories with my team, friends, and family forever. This was the greatest contest final that I have ever been a part of. Never have I felt so much pressure, so much importance, and so much pride... these are moments I will cherish for a lifetime. I am grateful to have experienced all of this with my @teamusa 🇺🇸 teammates @nyjah and @chrisjoslin_ , and all the other incredible skateboarders from around the world. I look forward to the next opportunity I have to skate with all of the guys again... I have the utmost respect for all of you and nothing fills my cup more than this. @yutohorigome and @nyjah I say thank you. I am truly blessed to share the podium with both of you and I look forward to our next battle together.
