2 years ago‘Ik ben op mijn vijfde begonnen met voetbal en heb het sporten nooit meer losgelaten. Daarvoor heeft het me te veel opgeleverd. Als kind leerde ik erdoor samenwerken, in een team. Als er eentje zat te klooien, ging het fout. We moesten het met zijn allen doen. Later merkte ik dat ook tijdens het kickboksen. Ik had in mijn hoogtijdagen denk ik wel vijf coaches, voor kracht, conditie, boksen, kickboksen en voeding. Al die mensen hielden mij scherp, zodat ik in de ring kon laten zien wat ik daar kwam doen. Ook doorzettingsvermogen, niet willen opgeven, is iets wat ik heb gekregen door te sporten. Het euforische gevoel dat je krijgt als je 2-0 achterstaat en uiteindelijk 3-2 wint, vergeet je niet.
