2 years ago‘Ik ben op mijn vijfde begonnen met voetbal en heb het sporten nooit meer losgelaten. Daarvoor heeft het me te veel opgeleverd. Als kind leerde ik erdoor samenwerken, in een team. Als er eentje zat te klooien, ging het fout. We moesten het met zijn allen doen. Later merkte ik dat ook tijdens het kickboksen. Ik had in mijn hoogtijdagen denk ik wel vijf coaches, voor kracht, conditie, boksen, kickboksen en voeding. Al die mensen hielden mij scherp, zodat ik in de ring kon laten zien wat ik daar kwam doen. Ook doorzettingsvermogen, niet willen opgeven, is iets wat ik heb gekregen door te sporten. Het euforische gevoel dat je krijgt als je 2-0 achterstaat en uiteindelijk 3-2 wint, vergeet je niet. I had a motto growing up that said, "if I play one minute of professional football then I would die a happy man." Joining the @premierleague Hall of Fame is the icing on the cake! As y’all know, I’m currently story-boarding for “Young Apostles” an illustrated series exploring the story of Jesus through the eyes of his 12 disciples. (Will be releasing as a physical series (4 Illustrated novels) and as a WEBTOON, cuz Jesus should be free) early 2025 🥂 YOUNG APOSTLES: • found family trope 🫂 • Jesus with a personality 🏂(if you read the Bible you’ll find He is wayyyy more iconic than most books/movies make him out to be. I’m just gonna try and capture that) * Two Judas’s 😱there were two disciples of the 12 named Judas. We’ll follow both of them but the reader won’t know who’ll be the betrayer until the end. * sweet, angsty love stories 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 (nothing creepy involving Jesus, no worries) • mind blowing plot twists😱 (I know you already know the story, but it goes so much deeper) • lots of fun, pretty art🤪 It’s gonna have a lot more goofy and lighthearted moments than some of my other works, but the same depth.
