5 years agoThis the last thing I wanna be typing out right now but I owe it to you. You were family. You were my brother. You were my best friend. Since we were 7 years old it was that way. You put me on to rap and I put you on to basketball and it’s funny the way shit turnt out bc those were the dreams we both decided to chase. You were the funniest , the purest, the realest mf any of us knew. This shit hurts so bad. You were so loved bro. Everyone who knew you loved you because that’s just the person you were. You always believed in me. You more than anybody else in this world have told me to never give up on my dreams and chase that mf till you physically can’t anymore. You always knew what to say and always knew what somebody needed to hear. This just doesn’t feel real and it never will. To everybody man, please , please , please put the pills down. You have people who love you and will do anything to help u and there’s so many better ways to go about things bro. I’m always here for anybody who needs anything , even if it’s just words, and there’s plenty of people that can say the same. Tell the people you love you love them frequently because you just never know when tragedy will hit. Tytan bro, the city is hurt, SKUNDO/MUT hurt, I’m hurt. 2 years agoThe great Tory Meiborg once told his crying son “if it didn’t hurt, it wouldn’t of been worth it.” Despite the bitter ending, it’s been an honor to wear this jersey for 3 years. The accomplishments will always be special, but the work, the lessons, and the relationships are what will live with me forever. The best decision I ever made was to be a Laker. Thank you coaches, the community, and most importantly my teammates. From the 25 guys that showed up to campus august 2020, to the 16 guys who sat in the locker room heartbroken Wednesday, I can’t put into words how much I appreciate all of you. 2 months agoWith advice from my family, my circle and players that i look up to. On 10/18/24 i got a Hip Resurfacing surgery done by the great Dr.Suu out of NYC. Most, but maybe no one even me knew that I’ve been playing through this hip injury for the last 2 years. I am a big believer in dealing with the cards that are dealt in your hand, while taking control of the situation and making a change. Being able to start the rehab process, just yesterday, to get back to 100% is going to be a grind that I’m up for 24/7.
