FYI, expect 40-60% RSVP attrition for a free event. Meaning 40-60% of your RSVP list will not turn up. 10-30% for a paid event. The easiest way to decrease attrition is to send reminder emails. Some of my events have < 10% attrition simply because I sent 2-3 emails pre-event.
