There is no magic sauce for longer naps, but there ARE things you can do to help your baby take longer naps. 🙌
It’s all about the right environment, a solid routine, and building enough sleep pressure, but not overdoing it #goldilocks
My top recs for setting your babe up for solid naps:
➕ A Dark room with white, brown, or pink noise
➕Implement a quick nap routine to signal sleep
➕Remove sleep props after the newborn period starting with overnight sleep and then moving to naps
➕Full feeds every 2-3 hours during the day
➕Watch the clock like a hawk and learn your baby’s sleep signals
➕Help extend short naps in babies under 3-4 months
➕A contact nap can be helpful to get a longer nap in for the day if crib naps are short
⭐️ You can have a good napper and overnight sleeper! The Well Rested course is here to help your baby fall asleep independently, wean overnight feeds, sleep through the night, and improve naps! Recommended for 4-24 months.
