If Israel, the media and governments actually want to prevent another Oct. 7, they would ask why it happened and be honest with themselves and the public about why it happened. Short of that, both the occupation, and the resistance will continue. Which is what Netanyahu wants (and why he helped create and sustain Hamas in the first place). Netanyahu said at a Likud private meeting in 2019, when that those who oppose a Palestinian state should support the transfer of funds to Hamas in Gaza, because maintaining the separation between the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and Hamas in Gaza would prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state. Colonialism has always been about dividing and conquering. Israel’s is no different. We will always resist—through literature, through art, through storytelling, and through armed struggle. Not just because it is our right to do so, or because it is right to do so, but because it is human nature.

8 months agoCelebrating our Baby girls 2nd birthday 🥹 I can’t believe our River-Reigns going to be 2 on Tuesday. Celebrating with all her friends and loved ones was absolutely perfect.
