3 months agoThis was my trip in early September where I celebrated my 28th birthday with my dad’s side of the family. Unfortunately I was only there for approximately 30 hours, and spent enough time in between Miami and Chile where I got my wonderful mother to read me a beautiful poem by Gabriela Mistral, a famous Chilean poet who’s won the Nobel Peace Prize for her literature. I’ve never truly connected with my dad’s side of the family, grandfather, uncles, little cousin, but it’s about damn time we did. Today, on Chile’s Independence Day, I wanted to share my experience. #feliz18deseptiembre 🇨🇱
