a month agoAMIRI announces the opening of its new boutique at The Forum Shops, marking the brand’s second location in Las Vegas, expanding the brand’s footprint in the market after debuting its inaugural storefront at the Wynn / Encore in 2021. Drawing deep inspiration from the brand’s Hollywood roots, the interior architecture juxtaposes handcrafted refinement with natural forms through contrasting textures: green onyx, raw-edged travertine, custom white oak furnishings, and a waved plaster facade and interior walls, complemented by lustrous velvet, ocean blue carpet, and aged wood. AMIRI continues to explore its ‘open gallery’ concept, bringing key artworks into visual conversation with both the space and the AMIRI collections with a curated selection of contemporary art unique to this location. 2 months ago@juddfoundation Pierre Paulin: Action House November 16, 2024–February 15, 2025 Judd foundation presents Pierre Paulin: Action House, an exhibition of furniture by Pierre Paulin at 101 Spring Street in New York. The exhibition is comprised of seven designs by Paulin conceived of from 1968 to 1972 for Action Office. In 1968, Paulin collaborated with Herman Miller on a project that sought to reinterpret Miller’s Action Office program for a residential setting. Constrained by industrial parameters, the project was never produced by Miller and existed only as prototypes. In Paulin’s concept of utopian design, the user could combine spaces and modules according to their personal culture, psychological self-conception, and the image they wished to project.
