a year ago🤩🪄 Hola Enzo! 🇦🇷🏆 It’s been an absolute honour to fly out to Buenos Aires, Argentina to work with World Cup Winner and Young Player of the Tournament, Enzo Fernandez. While some may take their foot off the gas when they gain some success, special athletes get hungrier to improve. We started a few months ago, and while I was very familiar with his quality as a player, this trip has opened my eyes to his humility as a person and just how much this beautiful game means to him, and the entire country over here 🇦🇷 It’s been an incredible trip, with some moments that will be highlights I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. a year ago🔵⚡️🧨 Jeez this was a tough one to write! Where to start….😭😭 Firstly I want to say thank you Ruben for allowing me to go on this journey with you. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you so for that I’ll be forever grateful. We started at the darkest of times, coming back from a bad rupture with people writing him off. He made the bold decision to go on loan to get vital minutes, and we used this time to build his body from the ground up. In the space of a year, we had put 5km/hr on his top speed, his strength and power was literally off the charts and that confidence in his body was back. The first injury free season in 10 years and he then battled his way back into the midfield that had just won the Champions League. Training abroad and seeing with my own eyes the power of Rizz was a sight to behold. From dog walks, an NFL game and countless stories, I’m going to miss you man! I’ve loved watching you play in Blue but I can’t wait for what’s next. You deserve to ball out every week and I’m SO proud of what you’ve achieved.
