a year agoi cannot fucking believe i’m saying this. 🥲
the last 3 years writing this book has both drove me to places where i actually thought i was going to sewerside - and at the same time SAVED me and healed me into a woman i could only have once dreamed of becoming. writing this was a matter of survival. this book is raw and bold and a testament to each and every one of us who has lost their identity through abuse and trauma and searches longingly for a rebirth into who they came here to be. this book is the arms that will cradle you through your most painful nights and answer all those questions why why why you find yourself constantly crying into your pillow. and finally, i wrote this book to protect anyone who may need to read it, because i wish i had something to warn me of the same experience so many of us are suffering here on earth everyday. if it can save even one person, i’m honoured.
