3 months agoThe outer jacket of the limited edition of Baxaxaxa “Spells From The Crypt…” was conceptualised as a profane altarpiece, expanding the artwork of the cover of this anthology. It is the result of the exchange of ideas between the band, artist @rotting_reign and DWTMH. The choice of the material and the screen printing technique by @holaporque, is a metaphorical connection between handmade artisan craftwork and the ancient old feeling of Baxaxaxa’s way of understanding and performing Black Metal. This fold out triptych wraps the single pocket regular 5 mm jacket which is printed on the reverse and black flooded in the inside.
