2 years agoThe best footballing decision you could ever make is putting yourself in the best position to win at all costs. This experience brought the best out of me .. enduring fair bit of criticism and backlash people out there waiting to see you lose and fall flat on your face! But that’s what comes with the territory when you are striving for greatness. Playing with some of the most talented young Sierra Leonean players that will go on to do big things in their football careers has been amazing to be a part of. Made some adjustments in getting out of my comfort zone to run through ladders and jump over hurdles and all the fitness stuff I used to do easily when I was younger but not so much at this age. Have fallen short so many years losing semi finals, quarter finals kicked out group stages and never thought winning this cup would actually happen. In football timing is everything and this one of the happiest footballing memory to date. Shoutout to @capeverde_nsw for the support and giving me the best opportunity to win the cup that has been missing from my resumè. 2 years agoLate nights early mornings these are the moments that make it all worth it. Enjoyed every phase in this journey coaching this team in the second year of this tournament and it’s always the second year of the back to back that is the most challenging. Big ups to the younger players being added to the team joining the players from last year to make an even stronger squad to get the job done.
