This was a story about a woman from Taiwan who had been suffering from severe constipation for 23 years.
She finally decided to get an x-ray and was shocked at the results.
Her colon was completely displaced.
Her colon had zero grooves and wrinkles (it was smooth). Likely due to the build up of waste matter inside of the colon.
What some would call “mucoid plaque”.
Ladies and gentlemen, this extreme case highlights how important it is to poop.
One of the first symptoms of a sluggish colon is constipation.
Are you constipated? You’re going to want to carry on reading.
We should be having 1-3 bowel movement a day.
Quality is better than quantity sometimes. But if you’re having 3 decent meals per day, you should be pooping 2-3 times each day.
Any less would be considered acute-chronic constipation.
Why would you be constipated?
Mental blockages? What are you not willing to LET GO of?
Weak peristalsis? Is your nervous system not signalling your colon to move efficiently?
Poor mucosal membrane? Is your gut not producing adequate mucus to move food along?
Not enough bile? Is your food not “chyme” enough to pass through the colon without difficulties?
