🥂 Chardonnay is one of the muses that lured our dad, Jay Corley, to the Napa Valley more than 50 years ago!
⌛️ In 1970, Dear Ol' Dad settled in the southern end of the valley, in what is now known as the Oak Knoll District. With the daily afternoon breeze rolling in from San Pablo Bay, he correctly identified this cooler end of Napa Valley as a great place to grow California versions of his beloved Burgundian varietals.
🍷 Even though we're in the middle of 'Cab Country', Estate Grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir remain critical varietals in our winemaking program ... historically, and emotionally, and financially!
🍾 Today, we're excited to kick off Harvest 2024 with our Block 1, Clone 96 Chardonnay!
