a year agoGoing down memory lane in honor of #wicked20 and found my final soundcheck on tour before transferring to the Broadway company. This put me in my feels 🥹Taking the journey of this song every night for two years, backed by the most incredible orchestra and company of artists, was the thrill of a lifetime. There’s nothing like it. 💕

a year agoNow that the word is out, I can finally post about the coolest day of my life. This past spring, I got to play young Dolly Parton at the first table read of her new musical about her life…. in front of DOLLY PARTON. I cannot even believe that is a real thing I’m saying !!! ⚰️ You never know what the future holds for any project (& with this one it is still very early days), but regardless, it was so freaking cool to be in that room with only 15 actors, Dolly, and her co-writer Maria, laughing and crying while telling her story. Once in a lifetime magic. 🥹 ps- the show is INCREDIBLE. So witty, fiery, hilarious, genuine, heartfelt and deeply touching. Just like Dolly. Endless thanks to @mariasschlatter who saw Titanique and reached out after because she saw Dolly in me. You are an angel and I will never be able to thank you enough! If we were all a little more like Dolly, the world would be a better place. Stone soup. 🦋
