a year agoWords cannot describe the feeling volleyball brings me. It is truly my first love. I’ve been blessed to experience many highlights and hardships with this sport. It has always been a dream of mine to advance to a final four and have the opportunity to compete for a national championship.
Throughout this season I’ve thought about one verse. John 13:7
[Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”] I know god has a plan and it’s a special one. I’ve been so blessed to be surrounded with such amazing people, and although the goals of this year came up short, I cannot express the gratitude I’ve had for this season and this team. I will forever cherish this team.
Being able to wear Wisconsin across my chest has been a dream come true. I’m so fortunate to have an extra year of eligibility to play the sport I love. I couldn’t be more excited and determined for next season. There’s still unfinished business.
