2 years agoThere is an inner voice in me that won’t allow me to turn my face and do nothing when I see injustice. My body, my blood, my Brian 🧠 my entire being reacts against injustice. I can’t tolerate. This is what happens to me , If I keep my voice silence, my throat starts hurting, and If I continue ignoring and not listening to myself my heart beats starts beating faster, and my chest start hurting. It feels like my heart ♥️ become like an angry bird 🦅 that if I don’t do anything it rips my chest apart and come out. This is me Khalida Popal. I can’t stop being who I am and I can’t stop activism. Activism is in my heart ❤️ ,my brain 🧠 and my blood 🩸no matter how tired, broken, lonely, and frustrated I feel most of the time I can’t ignore things. 3 months agoMy first painting in over 15 years (unless you include painting with the children 🙈) Watercolour flowers - an experimental piece using various materials including cling film, masking fluid and salt - finding ways to add depth and interest to a watercolour painting. A fun way to start this journey.
