2 months agoHappy Anniversary to my first book Incomplitudé, which entered stores a year ago today! 💗 The will to finally publish a decade of poems, musings, prayers, and micro-essays came from a single thought: “What would you do if you could not fail?” There is a me who lives in these pages, incomplete, anxious, longing, and hopeful— and I wrote this book as a love letter to her, not knowing it would also be a farewell. Since then I’ve found a bounty & wholeness I had not thought possible, yet I hope these words remain a balm for everyone who struggles in their youth. Seeing it line bookshelves from New York to London and beyond has been such a gift, and I thank you all for your support. 🌸

2 months agoWith advice from my family, my circle and players that i look up to. On 10/18/24 i got a Hip Resurfacing surgery done by the great Dr.Suu out of NYC. Most, but maybe no one even me knew that I’ve been playing through this hip injury for the last 2 years. I am a big believer in dealing with the cards that are dealt in your hand, while taking control of the situation and making a change. Being able to start the rehab process, just yesterday, to get back to 100% is going to be a grind that I’m up for 24/7.
