Depending on the size and complexity of such engravings, it can take hours or even several days to complete the work involved in producing a single motif. Apart from the artistry and dexterity needed to perform this craft, perseverance is an important prerequisite for our engravers. Those special engravings can be found, for instance, in our latest debut, the DATOGRAPH HANDWERKSKUNST with its relief-engraved vine pattern on the balance cock. The dial of our CABARET TOURBILLON HANDWERKSKUNST features a meticulously engraved lozenge pattern. This engraving technique creates a captivating three-dimensional structure on the dial, with subtle light reflections dancing across its surface. A specially crafted lining burin is used to achieve a fine-grained texture, demanding incredible precision.
