9 months agoA tattoo, to me, is far more than an aesthetic embellishment, a mark of distinction, or even art. It’s a deep, personal expression of who we are, as unique as our own stories. Being named after Joseph the Dreamer has always felt like walking a tightrope between a gift and a curse. he loss of my mother nine years ago deepened the significance of this namesake, that name has taken on even more weight, echoing the dual nature of dreams in today’s world. To the world, a dreamer wavers between the visionary and the impractical—celebrated for ambition by some, criticized for idealism by others. But for me, it’s about balancing both. It stands as a tangible manifestation of the vow I pledged to my mother: to harbour grand dreams, to always look out for those I consider family, and to pursue my aspirations with relentless passion and precision.
Thank you to the young, talented brother, @mikeybenes, for making “The Dreamer” come true. And thank you to brother, @shot_byt for capturing this special moment.
