3 months agoWhile he wasn’t a WME Client, Dikembe Mutumbo was larger than life. He was an incredible talent on the court and an amazing ambassador for the game off of it. He was always especially supportive of our efforts in Africa and our African Players. He was a humanitarian that grew the game across the continent of Africa and around the world, and his impact will be felt forever. Rest peacefully Dikembe.

3 months agoFreedom is the ability to be disliked. If you can let people not like you, that’s freedom. Why do you want everyone’s approval and validation? Anyways, the belief is that if I have their approval and their validation, then I’m enough. But when you have your approval and your validation, you don’t rely on their approval and their validation and it’s coming from the source which is you instead of them. You see this is where by the way, everything we’re talking about today is also a reflection of the inner child dynamics as a kid of learning self versus other learning individuation. Because if in order to feel safe in my body, I need mom and dad and everyone else’s approval and validation, you are gonna feel guilty, setting boundaries, you’re gonna feel guilty in choosing yourself. Guilt is a form of control. Guilt is used to keep you safe in making other people’s energies and emotions yours.
