a year agoI’m deeply honored to share my food and stories with the world on the Netflix series show High On The Hog, Season 2. It feels great telling our own stories and controlling our own narrative, as well as reclaiming it. I thoroughly enjoyed cooking for @drjessicabharris , (a true legend) and @isawstephen @papillionart . If you haven't watched it, you must check it out! There are so many people sharing their amazing stories that give you more perspective on the influence the South and West Africa have had in inspiring American cooking. ✨ I also want to thank every single person who was a part of making this happen. Let's continue sharing our stories and inspiring one another. 💫 @dakarnola has more exciting news! Join me on a 6-day culinary journey this Spring to Dakar, Senegal. 🥂 As part of this small and intimate group of travelers, you’ll meet and have access to the tastemakers and cultural leaders of Dakar–chefs, designers, historians and scholars–while learning about its rise as the artistic capital of Africa. 🇸🇳 Trip details to be announced in December. Sign up to receive updates. Space will be limited! 🔜

I’m Mandy, here to 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 & 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀⁣ 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁! ⁣ Home workouts & simple nutrition Let’s work together👇🏼

5 months agoAfter rolling my eyes at home workouts for years I learned…⁣ ⁣ It doesn’t matter where the workouts takes place, but the effort you put into them. ⁣ ⁣ 4.5 years ago I brought my workouts home. I wasn’t sure if I’d see results following a program that required limited space and just dumbbells, but to save time and money I tried it. ⁣ ⁣ Here what learned:⁣ ✨You CAN see results doing workouts at home ⁣ ✨You don’t need fancy equipment. Dumbbells will do⁣ ✨You don’t need a whole lot of space ⁣ ✨30 minutes is adequate for an effective workout⁣ ✨A lot of excuses go away when the gym is at home⁣ ✨Fitness/workouts can actually be fun⁣ ✨Workouts at home doesn’t = alone #accountability ⁣ ✨It can be an investment up front, but saves in the long run. Time and money. ⁣ ⁣ I’ll admit I was impressed when I took the first progress pictures after 4 weeks back in 2020. What’s even more impressive is 4 and a 1/2 years later I’m STILL SEEING RESULTS with these programs from home, 30-40 minutes, 4-5 days per week. ⁣ ⁣ They work when you do. No matter where you do them. ⁣ ⁣ What do you have to lose? There are many programs to choose from for all fitness levels. ⁣ ⁣ If you have some dumbbells, a body you can move, and a little bit of space you CAN see RESULTS from HOME. ⁣ ⁣ 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝗲 “𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦” to join me with the lifting program best fit for you to reach your results goals!

3 months agoYou don’t need a long time. 30-40 minutes will do. You also…⁣ ⁣ Don’t need a lot of equipment and the workout itself doesn’t need to be completed. ⁣ ⁣ 9 years of working out myself and almost 5 years of getting other busy ladies set up with effective workout programs, I’ve learned that the simpler the workout the more effective. ⁣ ⁣ Straight forward lifting is my favorite. Add a little cardio (not a lot) and maybe some core if those align with your goals and your ⭐️golden⭐️ to see results if you put in the work. ⁣ ⁣ As for time it really doesn’t have to be long. Another things I’ve learned and am so thankful for is the quality of your workout is better than the quantity of time you spend doing it. ⁣ ⁣ For the last 5 years my workouts are 30-40 minutes for the most part.⁣ ⁣ All you need are a few sets of dumbbells, nothing fancy, and I’ve done all of my workouts from home the last 5 years. You don’t have to do that, but it’s what’s worked for me and many of my clients when it comes to saving time and seeing results. ⁣ ⁣ If you have fitness goals, but are crunched for time I have the program for you! ⁣ ⁣ Direct message me “30 MINUTES” for details.
