2 years agoThe chief role of vitamin C, also known as ascorbate and ascorbic acid, is as a water-soluble antioxidant. 🧡 Vitamin C is required for the maintenance of normal connective tissue, wound healing, healthy skin & bones, and much more. 🧡 Vitamin C is also needed as a cofactor in the synthesis of epinephrine (adrenaline) and bile acids, as well as thyroxin (thyroid hormone) synthesis, amino acid metabolism, strengthening resistance to infection and aiding in the absorption of iron, among other functions. 🧡 Furthermore, Vitamin C is required to maintain a healthy and effective immune system. Vitamin C has been shown to reduce severity of symptoms and length of illness in the common cold. The 6’1 PG has shown off his flashy handle and slick playmaking ability for a Blue Coats backcourt that features Myles Powell, Shaq Harrison, and Jaden Springer. 🗽 @_slicck_ Ponds is averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 assists, and 4.6 rebounds this year. He has six games of 20+ points and has dropped 23+ points in three of his last five outings. Ponds was the No. 1 pick in the 2021 G League Draft last year. He previously played for the Raptors 905 on a two-way deal back in 2020.
