a year ago今日晴れてロサンゼルスドジャースの一員となることができました。 ドジャースブルーのユニフォームに袖を通した瞬間の高揚感は言葉では言い表せません。 本日ドジャースタジアムで行われました入団会見でもスピーチさせていただきましたが、 ここに至るまでに僕に関わっていただいた全ての方のお陰で、今日メジャーリーガーとしてのスタートラインに立つことができました。 入団会見のスピーチでは緊張しすぎて、準備していたコメントが飛んでしまい、大変な失礼をしてしまいましたが、7年間プレーさせていただいたオリックス・バファローズの球団関係者の皆様、ファンの皆様にはまず一番に感謝の気持ちを伝えなければいけませんでした。 皆様と一緒に作り上げたピッチングがメジャーリーグでも通用することを必ず証明してみせます。 そして、ロサンゼルスドジャースのファンの皆様、12年という長期に渡る契約をしていただいたからには、ロサンゼルスに骨を埋める覚悟で、チームの勝利に貢献し続けられるように、常に挑戦を続けていきます。ドジャースタジアムでお会いしましょう！ まだほんの僅かの滞在ですが、ロサンゼルスの街が大好きになりました。 もちろん大阪もいつまでも僕にとっては特別な街に変わりありませんが、早くロサンゼルスの街の一員になって、ロサンゼルスの全てを楽しみたいと思っています！ To all Dodger fans, with my contract being 12 years - I will do everything in my power to cement my self into the city of Los Angeles - and will continue to challenge my self to improve to hopefully become a part of bringing a World Series to this city. I’ll see you at Dodgers Stadium! I’ve only been here for a little while, but I have already fallen in love with the city of Los Angeles! Of course Osaka will always be a special place in my heart, but I’m looking forward to becoming a Los Angeles resident and enjoying everything this city has to offer!
