4 months agoSo much noise! So many opinions! A lot of showing off!
Lack of stillness! Lack of truth! No desire to stay in the secret place!! Everyone just wants to TALK!! It gets so tiring watching people talk on instagram, tiktok, podcast, YouTube about what God wants and what He is saying but no demonstration of POWER! When was the last time you saw someone raise the dead, healed the sick, brought sight to the blind, made the mute speak or hearing to the deaf? “For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power.”- 1 Corinthians 4:20
Evangelist Billy Graham once said “I would study more. I would pray more, travel less, take less speaking engagements... I took too many of them in too many places around the world. If I had to do it over again, I’d spend more time in meditation and prayer and just telling the Lord how much I love him.” - This is what is truly desirable to those who want more of the Lord! Not trying to be famous and out there! We are not trying to flaunt what car we are driving, what watch we are wearing and how many people are following us! Our desire is the Lord and Him alone! We need to get back to the secret place. The place where He fills us with His power, love, wisdom, knowledge and just His mind blowing presence. My desire is for the church to go back to its first love and not loving the things of the world so much! When Christ is enough, you thirst for nothing else; not even to be popular! I pray ears hear and eyes see His glory alone! Amen!
