2 years agoThis is me when I see another "fake influencer" online 🤮 I respect everybody trying to make it but integrity and truth should be above all else. Recessions and bear markets will always reveal who the real beasts are and who isn’t built for it. Pay attention. A lot of people will be filtered out.. The fakes The lazy The over leveraged The know-it-alls The snakes Be very careful in business. There are a lot of clowns who think they are beasts. I’ve had to let one go as of recently. What makes somebody a beast is who they are, how they move, their previous results, and their integrity...not what they post online. Here’s why… It's easy to talk. It's hard to execute. It's easy to validate. It's hard to find ways. It's easy to work hard. It's hard to get real results. It’s easy to consume. It’s hard to produce. It’s easy to complain. It’s hard to take responsibility. It’s easy to start a business. It’s hard to grow it. It’s easy to rent a lambo. It’s hard to grow wealth. It’s easy to flex on social. It’s hard to flex in real life. Real wealth is what you don’t see and real influence starts OFFLINE. It's very scary how much you can fake it online. In my observation less than 3% are really crushing it in REAL LIFE. Intelligent people see past the hype and bs. Stay in your own world. Mind your business. Protect your time. Don’t compare somebody’s highlight reel to your everyday life. Keep your circle tight. Most of the online world is a fantasy land. Thats why it’s important to build something that matters in real life.

6 months agoMt. Kilimanjaro - 📸 by @shama4realz 🇹🇿🌋 . . . Pic 10 is me after puking my guts out 5 hours into summit night… it was a lovely scene. Summit night was the hardest night of my life. I developed a stomach bug that morning. I had 2 hours of sleep in about a 36 hour span. Went on to puke several more times that night, but also went on to Summit. Still processing a lot from that night, but all I know is I’m grateful for my amazing team, the incredible guides/porters, and the ability to keep food/water down. You’re capable of so much more than you think you are.

The 6’1 PG has shown off his flashy handle and slick playmaking ability for a Blue Coats backcourt that features Myles Powell, Shaq Harrison, and Jaden Springer. 🗽 @_slicck_ Ponds is averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 assists, and 4.6 rebounds this year. He has six games of 20+ points and has dropped 23+ points in three of his last five outings. Ponds was the No. 1 pick in the 2021 G League Draft last year. He previously played for the Raptors 905 on a two-way deal back in 2020.

4 months agoLIFE UPDATE 2.0 🥳 After months of prayer, waiting on God, and divine appointments, I’m excited to announce that as of last week, I began my new journey as the new Youth Pastor here at @crossatlanta in Cumming, GA! To say this is a dream come true is an understatement - for several years, Cross Church has been a safe haven for me, and the culture I see embodied here is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. Pastor Josh & Monica are some of the most authentic, genuine, loving, and God-honoring leaders I have ever met, and I’m still in awe that they chose me to steward this ministry, carry out their vision, and use my life to help impact others in this capacity 🙌 To all our @crosscultureyth students & leaders - THANK YOU! a year ago2 Questions for you! These are some of the most powerful questions to ask or be asked. Your answer has eternal impact. Many think we can get to Heaven based on merit or other avenues. But friend, absolutely nothing apart from Jesus can get us to Heaven. It’s trusting in Him and His work alone on our behalf. You can’t be good enough, smart enough, financially resourced enough, or “try my best” enough to make you deserve Heaven. We all sin and fall short. Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn’t, died on the cross, and rose again to cover our eternal debt. It is by grace we are saved through faith, not by works. Only Jesus can save. Two Questions: 1.On a scale 1-10 (10 being “certain” and 1 being “not so sure”), how certain are you that you would go to Heaven if you died today? 2. 3 months agobeen holding off on this one simply because it’s been incredibly hard to find the words to say what’s in my heart. this past week I said goodbye to my dream job. if you’re thinking, who dreams of work? normally I would agree with you. but for the past half a decade, I have been incredibly fortunate to wake up every day and do what I love with people I love. if you were to tell me this time last year that I would be making the choice to step away from the atlanta hawks and move home to cincinnati, i would’ve told you you’re crazy. but life happens, and no matter how much you try to control it, sometimes you just have to waive your white flag. so with that, the tillinghast crew is headed back home where I can prioritize my health and my family for a bit – which also means, leaving my beloved hawks family. there are not enough words in the world (or slides on instagram) to express my gratitude and love that I have for this organization and all of the people that are in it. to the hawks organization – thank you for taking a chance on me and affording me the opportunities to learn and grow, day in and day out. grateful for every success, every failure, and each lesson that came along with it. thank you for the incredible support and patience as I’ve navigated my health. thank you for believing in me and my ability to contribute to the vision of this franchise, and for making the dreams of a south asian girl from cincinnati come true. I’ve poured my heart into this organization and you have given it back to me 100x over. to my teammates on and off the court – thank you for accepting me as I am while challenging me to be a better version of myself each day. I have had the privilege of working with some of the most genuine and talented individuals, who are the absolute best at what they do. I am so grateful for the leadership, mentorship, and friendship that I have experienced. It has been an honor to walk alongside you these past few years and witness the greatness first hand that exists in each and every one of you. I found a sense of purpose in this city, and for that I am forever indebted. but now it’s on to the next chapter. all my love, always.

a year ago11/26 I GOT BAPTIZED!!!🥹🙏🏽 Today was such a special and emotional moment in my life. For so long I was a lukewarm Christian, living with one foot in my worldy ways and another in the foot in the church. When I put my selfish desires that I created for myself aside AND I gave it all to God, THIS is when blessings started to unfold. Every single hardship, everything I have been put through has led me straight to this moment. That thing that’s going on in your life has its purpose too! JESUS THANK YOU SO MUCH 🥹 How blessed am I!! To have a momma to fly in to see this special moment and to have my best friend beside me having hers too. God has givin me more than I’ve ever deserved.
